Abstract

La invención se relaciona con un pistón (1) para un motor de combustión interna constituido de una primera parte y una segunda parte, formando una de las dos partes la cabeza del pistón 4 y formando la otra parte el faldón del pistón (7) y una cámara de enfriamiento (20), la cual es delimitada por el material de la primera parte y el material de la segunda parte, estando configuradas en el pistón (1). Para permitir la fabricación barata y la máxima libertad de diseño ese pistón para motores de combustión interna en consecuencia se caracteriza porque las dos partes son unidas positiva y no positivamente vía un ajuste a presión formado por una proyección (28, 29) de la segunda parte, acoplándose la proyección (28, 29) con una cavidad (24, 26) en la primera parte.
