Abstract
Gases liberados de refinería son tratados en una planta en dos pasos de procesamiento, en donde los gases liberados son primero lavados en una columna de lavado utilizando aceites pobres para extraer mercaptanos pesados e hidrocarburos C5+, y en donde un hidrotratador entonces es utilizado para saturar hidrocarburos olefínicos y reducir compuestos de azufre. Más preferiblemente, el aceite reciclado pobre es utilizado para el control de temperatura del reactor hidrotratador en configuraciones en donde el aceite pobre de un separador de salida de reactor hidrotratador es mezclado con el suministro de reactor para así enfriar el reactor de hidrotratador vía evaporación.
