Abstract
Se proporciona un método para sintetizar una proteína de interés dentro de una planta o una porción de una planta. El método implica introducir una o más de una secuencia de ácido nucleico que codifica una proteína de interés enlazada operativamente con una región reguladora obtenida a partir de un gen fotosintético que está activo en la planta, en una manera transitoria. La planta se mantiene entonces bajo condiciones que permitan a la secuencia de ácido nucleico que codifica la proteína de interés ser expresada en la planta o la porción de la planta. La planta puede podarse antes de introducir una o más de una secuencia de ácido nucleico.
