Abstract

En el campo de la biología molecular un método para aumentar diversos rasgos relacionados con el rendimiento de las plantas por el aumento de la expresión en un planta de una secuencia de ácidos nucleicos que codifica un polipéptido transportador de alta afinidad por nitrato 2 (NRT2). También plantas que tienen aumento de la expresión de una secuencia de ácidos nucleicos que codifica un polipéptido NRT2, dichas plantas tienen rasgos aumentados relacionados con el rendimiento con respecto a las plantas de control. Además construcciones útiles en los métodos de la invención.
