Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método para proveer una planta transgénica, que comprende transformar una célula vegetal o material vegetal con una secuencia nucleotídica que comprende una secuencia nucleotídica que codifica para una proteína BBM, en donde la actividad de la proteína BBM es inducida durante la transformación y/o regeneración de la célula vegetal o material vegetal transformado, y en donde la célula vegetal o material vegetal se origina de una planta recalcitrante. Por otro lado, la invención se refiere a una planta transgénica o material de la misma que comprende una proteína BBM, en donde la planta transgénica es una planta recalcitrante.
