Abstract
La presente solicitud se refiere a un método para proveer una planta transgénica, que comprende transformar una célula vegetal o material vegetal con una secuencia nucleotídica que comprende una secuencia nucleotídica que codifica para una proteína BBM (borde de membrana en cepillo), en donde la actividad de la proteína BBM es inducida durante la transformacion y/o regeneracion de la célula vegetal o materia vegetal transformado, y en donde la célula vegetal o material vegetal se origina de un planta recalcitrante. Por otro lado, la solicitud se refiere a una planta transgénica o material de la misma que comprende una proteína BBM, en donde la planta transgénica es una planta recalcitrante.
