Abstract
La presente invención proporciona un recubrimiento duro optimizado y una pieza de trabajo, especialmente una herramienta de corte recubierta con un recubrimiento duro para aumentar el desempeño de mecanización con materiales difíciles de mecanizar tal como aceros de alta velocidad, aleaciones de titanio, aleaciones de níquel, aceros austeníticos y especialmente materiales duros tal como acero para herramienta endurecido que tiene una dureza de más de 50, preferiblemente de más de 55 HRC. Esto se logra por una pieza de trabajo recubierta con una capa múltiple resistente al desgaste que comprende por lo menos una primera capa de soporte y una segunda capa nanocristalina, en donde la primera capa comprende un material de revestimiento de la siguiente composición (TiaAl1-a)N1-x-yCxOy con 0.4 < a < 0.6, y O < x y y < 0.3, o (AlbCr1-b)N1-x-yCXOY con 0.5 < b < 0.7, y 0 < x e y < 0.3. La segunda capa comprende una material de recubrimiento de la siguiente composición (Al1-c-d-eCrcSidMe)N1-x- yCxOy en donde M representa por lo menos un elemento de los metales de transición del grupo 4, 5, 6 de la tabla periódica excepto cromo y 0.2 < c < 0.35, 0 <d < 0.20, 0 < e < 0.04.
