Description
図1は、本発明の硬質積層被膜被覆工具の一例であるエンドミル10を説明する図で、(a) は軸心と直角方向から見た正面図であり、超硬合金にて構成されている工具母材12にはシャンクおよび刃部14が一体に設けられている。刃部14には、切れ刃として外周刃16および底刃18が設けられており、軸心まわりに回転駆動されることによりそれ等の外周刃16および底刃18によって切削加工が行われるとともに、その刃部14の表面には硬質積層被膜20がコーティングされている。図1(a) の斜線部は硬質積層被膜20を表しており、図1の(b) は、硬質積層被膜20がコーティングされた刃部14の表面部分の断面図である。エンドミル10は回転切削工具で、工具母材12は硬質積層被膜20が設けられる所定の部材に相当する。

・被削材種:SKD11(60HRC)
・加工方法:側面切削
・切削速度:120m/min(3820min-1)
・送り速度:0.08mm/t(1850mm/min)
・切り込み:aa=10mm、ar=0.5mm
・切削油剤:エアブロー
Claims (5)
- 所定の部材の上に積層して設けられる耐熱性に優れた硬質積層被膜であって、
TiAlCrX1-a Na (但し、Xは炭素または酸素で、混晶比aは0.5≦a≦1)から成り、前記部材上に該部材に接して設けられる第1被膜層と、
TiAlCrX1-b Nb (但し、混晶比bは0.5≦b≦1)と、TiAl(SiC)X1-c Nc (但し、混晶比cは0.5≦c≦1)との混合層、又はそれ等を交互に積層した多層から成り、前記第1被膜層の上に設けられる第2被膜層と、
TiAl(SiC)X1-d Nd (但し、混晶比dは0.5≦d≦1)から成り、前記第2被膜層の上に設けられて最上部に位置する第3被膜層と、
を有することを特徴とする硬質積層被膜。 - 前記第1被膜層の膜厚は、1.0〜5.0μmの範囲内で、
該第1被膜層の膜厚と、前記第2被膜層および第3被膜層の合計膜厚の比は、1:0.1〜1.0の範囲内で、
該第1被膜層から該第3被膜層までの総膜厚は、1.1〜10μmの範囲内である
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の硬質積層被膜。 - 前記第2被膜層の膜厚と前記第3被膜層の膜厚の比は、1:1.0〜20の範囲内である
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の硬質積層被膜。 - 前記混晶比a、b、c、dは総て同じ値である
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載の硬質積層被膜。 - 請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載の硬質積層被膜で表面が被覆されていることを特徴とする硬質積層被膜被覆工具。
