Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método para generar energía eléctrica en una central de energía con turbinas de gas/vapor que utiliza un gas de gasificación producido por portadores de carbono y un gas que contiene oxígeno, en donde los portadores de carbono son gasificados en una zona de gas fundido con oxígeno o un gas altamente oxigenado que tiene un contenido de oxígeno de al menos 95 % en volumen, preferentemente al menos 99 % en volumen. El método inventivo contiene las siguientes etapas: el gas de gasificación producido se hace pasar a través de una zona de desulfuración que contiene agentes desulfurantes, en donde los agentes desulfurantes utilizados son cargados en la zona de gasificación por fusión y retirados de la misma después de la formación de una escoria líquida; el gas de gasificación desulfurado, preferentemente después de haber sido limpiado y enfriado, es quemado entonces junto con el oxígeno puro en una cámara de combustión; los gases de combustión resultantes; H2O y CO2, son conducidos hacia la turbina de gas para generar energía; después de haber pasado la cámara de combustión, los gases de combustión son separados en una caldera de vapor en vapor de agua y dióxido de carbono; el vapor de agua es guiado subsiguiente hacia una turbina de vapor y el dióxido de carbono es reciclado al menos parcialmente hacia la cámara de combustión para la regulación de la temperatura.
