Abstract
Un metodo de operacion de un horno de canal tal como para recibir polvo del horno de arco electrico (EAF), lodo/polvo del horno de oxigeno basico (BOF) y/u otros materiales que contiene hierro y metales volatiles con una corriente de alimentacion en una base de lote, continua o semicontinua unto con una alimentacion de material que contiene hierro, y a partir de ahi se produce un metal caliente que contiene hierro o producto de arrabio mientras que se recupera el hierro de valor de los materiales de alimentacion y los componentes de metal volatiles de recuperacion contenidos en los materiales de alimentacion.
