Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a tecnicas para la deteccion de especies objetivo multiples en la PCR (reaccion en cadena de la polimerasa) en tiempo real. Por ejemplo, se describe un sistema que incluye un dispositivo de adquisicion de datos y un dispositivo de deteccion acoplado al dispositivo de adquisicion de datos. El dispositivo de deteccion incluye un disco giratorio que tiene una pluralidad de camaras de proceso que tienen una pluralidad de especies que emiten luz fluorescente a diferentes longitudes de onda. El dispositivo incluye ademas una pluralidad de modulos opticos. Cada uno de los modulos opticos esta configurado opticamente para excitar las especies y para capturar la luz fluorescente emitida por las especies a diferentes longitudes de onda. Un haz de fibras opticas acoplado a la pluralidad de modulos opticos transporta la luz fluorescente desde los modulos opticos multiples hasta un solo detector.
