Abstract
La invencion se refiere a un procedimiento para el recubrimiento por inmersion en bano fundido de una banda (1) de metal, especialmente una banda de acero, en el que la banda (1) de metal se introduce verticalmente a traves de un contenedor (3) que aloja el metal (2) de recubrimiento fundido y a traves de un canal (4) de guiado conectado aguas arriba, creandose para retener el metal (2) de recubrimiento en el contenedor (3) en la zona del canal (4) de guiado un campo electromagnetico mediante al menos dos inductores (5) dispuestos a ambos lados de la banda (1) de metal y modificandose para estabilizar la banda (1) de metal en una posicion central en el canal (4) de guiado la excitacion electromagnetica de los inductores (5) y/o creandose un campo electromagnetico que se superpone al campo electromagnetico de los inductores (5) mediante al menos dos bobinas (6) de correccion dispuestas a ambos lados de la banda (1) de metal. Para conseguir una regulacion centrada de la banda de metal que no sea propensa a averias segun la invencion esta previsto que la estabilizacion de la posicion central de la banda (1) de metal en el canal (4) de guiado se lleve a cabo mediante la sucesion de las siguientes etapas en un circuito de regulacion cerrado: a) medir la fuerza (FH) que actua en la direccion horizontal, que ejerce la banda (1) de metal sobre un elemento (7) de medicion de fuerza al abandonar la posicion central; b) actuar en la corriente (Ii) de induccion en los inductores (5) y/o en la corriente (IK) de induccion en las bobinas (6) de correccion en funcion de la fuerza (FH) medida para mantener la banda (1) de metal en la posicion central en el canal (4) de guiado. Ademas, la invencion se refiere a un dispositivo para el recubrimiento por inmersion en bano fundido de una banda de metal.
