Abstract

La presente invencion proporciona acidos Troika unidos a una resina macroporosa y metodos para la preparacion de los mismos, que incluye la union directa de un acido Troika, y la union de un precursor de acido Troika seguido por la generacion del acido Troika in si tu. Tambien se describen los metodos de funcionalizacion de una resina para facilitar la union. Se describen los acidos Troika multiples, que comprenden un par de acidos Troika unidos juntos. Se han disenan y validado las rutas de sintesis para ambas resinas microporosas y macroporosas modificadas por la introduccion de un acido tipo Troika adecuado. En una modalidad preferida, una resina Troika macroporosa elimina Cu2+ y Ni2+ de una solucion acuosa con alta afinidad, y es selectivo contra Mg2+ o Ca2+. Los materiales de la presente invencion tienen ventajas para la remocion o eliminacion de metales a partir de agua de desecho de plantas de energia.
