Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición refractaria para aplicarse como un refractario en seco, a base de un material agregado refractario seleccionado del grupo que consiste de magnesia alúmina,bióxido de calcio, sílice, zirconia y combinaciones de los mismos; y caracterizada porque incluye de aproximadamente 1 a aproximadamente 5 por ciento en peso de un agente aglutinante de baja temperatura de resina fenólica; y de aproximadamente 0.5 a aproximadamente 10 por ciento en peso de lo por lo menos un agente aglutinante de temperatura intermedia y una mezcla de un compuesto de silicato de metal alcalino y un polvo de metal.
