Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una composición refractaria caracterizada porque comprende un material de agregado refractario seleccionado del grupo que consiste de magnesia, alúmina-dióxido de calcio, sílice y combinaciones, de éstos; de aproximadamente 0.01 a aproximadamente 2.0 por ciento en peso de perlas de espuma de estireno; desde 0.0 hasta aproximadamente 5.0 por ciento en peso de fibra de papel; desde 0.0 hasta aproximadamente 6.0 por ciento en peso de un ligador; de 0.0 hasta aproximadamente 10.0 por ciento en peso de plastificante; de 0.0 hastsa aproximadamente 5.0 por ciento en peso de un estabilizador de enlaces; de 0.0 hasta aproximadamente 1.0 por ciento en peso de agente humectante; y de 0.0 hasta 0.5 por ciento en peso de agente espumante; de manera tal que el resto de la composición, hasta llegar a un total de 100 por ciento en peso, es dicho material refractario.
