Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un metodo para revestir vidrio plano por el depósito de vapor químico, en que se hace fluir un gas de revestimiento sobre una superficie de vidrio caliente en una zona de revestimiento, y el gas usado se dirige en alejamiento del vidrio en el extremo corriente abajo de la zona de revestimiento por un elemento desviador, que incluye una superficie adyacente a la superficie del vidrio, caracterizado porque se pasa una corriente de gas inerte sobre dicha superficie del elemento desviador, para inhibir la formación de un depósito del gas usado sobre dicha superficie.
