Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un perfeccionamiento a un procedimiento de moldeo mediante espuma perdida y bajo presión controlada, de piezas metálicas, preferiblemente de aluminio y de sus aleaciones, en el que se sumerge un modelo de espuma orgánica, de la pieza a moldear, dentro de un molde que tiene paredes limitadas por un baño de arena seca que no contiene ningún agente de ligazón o aglutinamiento, llevar el molde con el metal en estado líquido que substituya en forma progresiva a la espuma, quemándola, después aplicar sobre el molde y el metal, de preferencia antes de que se cebe la solificación del metal, una presión gaseosa casi isostática que aumenta en el tiempo hasta alcanzar un valor constante comprendido entre 0.5 y 10 MPa, la fase de elevación de la presión genera un exceso de presión en el metal funddo con respecto a la arena donde la máxima se sitúe dentro de los cinco primeros segundos de la elevación, el perfeccionamiento o mejoramiento está caracterizado por el hecho de que inicialmente la presión crece a una velocidad comprendida entre 0.003 y 0.3 MPa/seg. durante un primer período de a lo más segundos a partir del inicio de la elevación de la presión, después a una velocidad superior a la del primer período durante un segundo período y hasta que la presión de a lo más dos segundos.
