Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un metodo para depositar un recubrimiento metálico sin electrolitos uniforme sobre un substrato de aluminio que comprende: a) aplicar un recubrimiento de zincato sobre el aluminio usando un procedimiento de doble zincato en el cual el baño de ácido nítrico usado para tratar el primer substrato recubierto con zincato comprende una cantidad efectiva de un ión del grupo VIII; y b) chapear el substrato de aluminio zincateado usando un baño de chapeado metálico sin electrolitos conteniendo una cantidad efectiva de iones de cadmio.
