Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a procedimiento para obtener cristales abombados y/o esmaltados, según el cual las hojas de vidrio se cargan en plano, de una en una, en un horno de calentamiento, que atraviesan transferidas, por ejemplo, por un lecho de rodillos, se llevan adentro de una estación de abombado montada en el extremo del horno de calentamiento, constituída por un recinto cerrado eventualmente aislado termicamente y se conducen adentro de una estación de enfriamiento sobre todo de templado termico; esas hojas de vidrio se colocan en la estación de abombado debajo de un elemento superior, eventualmente conformado, se levantan y luego se aplican contra el elemento superior, y luego se encaminan hacia una estación de enfriamiento, caracterizado en que se opera un soplado de aire caliente en dirección del elemento superior entre dos tratamientos sucesivos.
