Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una base de regulador de presión de combustible, formada de una extrusión y que tiene una cámara de presión de combustible regulada y una cámara de exceso de combustible; siendo substancialmente la base de seis lados y teniendo un lado de la base una entrada que se abre a la cámara de presión de combustible regulada para suministrar combustible a la misma, abriéndose la cámara de presión de combustible regulada a través de un segundo lado de la base adyacente al lado, estando adaptada la base para soportar un diafragma que lleva un miembro de válvula para controlar el flujo de combustible de la cámara de presión de combustible regulada a la cámara de exceso de combustible, en donde los tres lados restantes de la base adyacentes a un lado, tienen por lo menos una proyección y definen una pluralidad de regiones planas, y el lado de la base opuesto al lado define una región plana adicional, en donde cada una de las regiones planas está adaptada para aceptar una herramienta cortante para formar una salida que se abre desde la cámara de exceso de combustible para descargar combustible desde la misma, mediante lo cual el regulador de presión de combustible puede quedar equipado con una salida orientada en cualquiera de seis direcciones con respecto a la entrada.
