Abstract
La presnete invención se refiere a un aparato para aplicar un plasma a una pared interior de un artículo de plástico que consiste de: a) un alojamiento que tiene primera y segunda cámaras separadas por un diafragma que definen una abertura para recibir un artículo que va a tratarse con plasma; b) un dieléctrico dentro de la primera cámara que tiene una perforación a través del mismo, la perforación incluye una cavidad en el interior del dieléctrico y una zona de plasma para recibir el artículo; c) un electrodo colocado en la cavidad y que está rodeado por el dieléctrico en todas las direcciones excepto hacia la zona de plasma y que define la zona de plasma; d) un medio para abrir y cerrar sellablemente el alojamiento; e) un medio para suministrar la energía al electrodo; f) un medio para conducir un gas hacia la primera cámara; y g) un medio para conectar la segunda cámara con una fuente de vacío.
