Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a espejo exterior para un vehículo del tipo que comprende: una cubierta; un espejo dispuesto en dicha cubierta; una montura para espejo, que sujeta a dicha cubierta de espejo en una posición normal, dicha cubierta siendo capaz de ser balanceada hacia afuera, hacia adelante y hacia atrás en relación a la montura del espejo; un miembro de retención dispuesto en la montura del espejo y extendiéndose dentro de la cubierta del espejo; y la montura teniendo por lo menos una parte de montura de espejo que, cuando dicha montura está dispuesta en el cuerpo del vehículo, sobresale de éste de manera que en la posición normal de uso, dicha cubierta de espejo rodea completa y lateralmente a dicha parte de montura; y un borde de la cubierta del espejo que está localizado en la montura del espejo del lado del vehículo, descansa contra el cuerpo del vehículo sin ejercer presión.
