Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para determinar el número de personas presentes en un espacio determinado, el método estando caracterizado porque consiste en: formar una imágen del espacio sobre una tira o conjunto de fotoconductores; leer los niveles grises de los puntos en la imágen mencionada a una frecuencia de lectura determinada; comparar los niveles grises de los mismos puntos en imágenes sucesivas; determinar las variaciones en los niveles grises que son causadas por los movimientos de una persona; y, deducir el número de personas presentes en el espacio mencionado de lo anterior.
