Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para la separación de compuestos orgánicos de cloro a partir del gas residual que se produce en la reacción de etileno con oxígeno para formar acetaldehido en la presencia de un sistema catalizador que consta de paladio y cobre o sus compuestos en una solución acuosa de ácido clorhídrico, caracterizado porque el gas residual extraído despues de aislar los productos de reacción se lava a temperaturas de 233ºK hasta 323ºK y presiones de 1 a 10 bares e contracorriente con solventes orgánicos polares.
