Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un cable de fibras ópticas que tiene por lo menos un componente mecánicamente resitente y que comprende una unidad transmisora y una vaina que encubre la unidad transmisora caracterizada por el hecho de que incorpora una composición polimerica insaturada hecha de una emzcla que ocmprende un polímero insaturado obtenido a traves de la polimerización de por lo menos monómeros dieno conjugados y un catalizador cojutado de entre los metales de transición, las sales inorgánicas y organometálicas de los metales de transición, los ácidos organometálicos de los metales de transisición ya sea como tales, o sostenidos por materiales inertes.
