Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para producir un uretano seleccionado de las fórmula: I en donde R es alquilo de aproximadamente 1 a aproximadamente 30 átomos de carbono, cuyo proceso se caracteriza porque comprende reaccionar: a) un hidrocarburo dicíclico insaturado de la fórmula: II con b) un metilen-bis-alquilcarbamato de la fórmula RCO2NH-CH2-NMCO2R en donde T es como se definió anteriormente, en la presencia de: c) una cantidad catalítica efectiva de un ácido, a una temperatura de aproximadamente 40 grados C a aproximadamente 150 grados C, hasta que se completa substancialmente la formación del compuesto uretano (I).
