Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a procedimiento para el tratamiento posterior del residuo que queda despues de la destilación en vacio de una refinería de petróleo crudo, caracterizado porque el residuo se somete bajo vacío a una destilación en trayectoria corta, en capa delgada, siendo la temperatura de la superficie del evaporador esncialmente mayor a la temperatura de la superfice del vapor esencialmente mayor que la temperatura del residuo que se queda en la destilación en vacío, y el destilado así como el residuo concentrado son evacuados por separado.
