Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a mejoras en ruedas abrasivas que comprenden: a) una matriz de material orgánico; b) gránulos abrasivos dispersos en toda la extensión de la matriz y adheridos a ella y c) un sistema aglutinante que adhiere los gránulos abrasivos a la matriz; las mejoras en ruedas abrasivas se caracterizan en que el sistema aglutinante incluye una mezcla de: 1) un aglutinante que tiene un estado líquido inicial, y que se cura conviriténdose en un material polimérico adherente y tenaz que, en condición no modificada, adhiere fimemente los gránulos abrasivos a la matriz de la rueda pero, cuando la rueda gira contra una pieza de trabajo en condiciones generadoras de calor, por ejemplo a una presión alta de la rueda contra la pieza de trabajo y a una gran velocidad superficial, puede frotarse sobre la superficie de la pieza de trabajo y 2) una cantidad reductora de la frotación de un polímero compatible reductor de la frotación.
