Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición que comprende A) cuando menos un compuesto que contiene un promedio de más de un grupo epóxido por molécula; B) cuando menos un compuesto que contiene un promedio de más de un grupo hidroxilo aromático por molécula, que no sea un polímero de alquenilfenol; y C) una cantidad catalítica del producto resultante de poner en contacto 1) por lo menos un compuesto seleccionado de a) un compuesto anio del elemento nitrógeno, fósforo, azufre o arsénico; b) un compuesto de amina no heterocíclica o un aducto del mismo con ácido; y c) un compuesto que contiene nitrógeno heterocíclico o un aducto del mismo con ácido; con 2) por lo menos un compuesto seleccionado de a) un ácido inorgánico libre de boro o una sal metálica del mismo; teniendo el ácido inorgánico un anión nucleófilo débil; b) un ácido inorgánico que contiene boro o una sal metálica del mismo.
