Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para elaborar objetos que comprenden nitruro de silicio fundido térmicamente, mediante las etapas de a) transportar en recipientes una serie de granallas de polvo, medidas, en un conjunto común que se va a utilizar para ambas etapas de nitruración y de fusión térmica, la introducción en recipientes siendo llevada a cabo por: i) recubrir la pred interna de un manguito grafítico, tratado para imercia, con una hoja delgada de metal refractario, esencialmente impermeable a la migración de iones de carbono y que tiene un espesor de 0.508 milímetros o menos; ii) insertar una serie de granallas medidas de una mezcla en polvo de silicio y agentes portadores de oxígeno hacia el manguito recubierto, grupos previamente seleccionados de las granallas de polvo estando separados por un espaciador inerte.
