Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para producir olefinas ligeras que tienen menos de 5 átomos de carbono, caracterizado porque comprende: (a) poner en contacto hidrógeno y cuando menos óxido de carbono en una primera zona de reacción, a condiciones efectivas para que reaccionen químicamente el hidrógeno y el óxido de carbono y produzcan un producto que comprende metanol en el efluente de la primera zona de reacción; (b) poner en contacto substancialmente todo el efluente de la primera zona de reacción, en una segunda zona de reacción que contiene un catalizador sólido, tridimencional, microporoso, cristalino de poros pequeños a condiciones efectivas para promover la conversión del metanol a olefinas y producir las olefinas ligeras en el efluente de la segunda zona de reacción; (c) recuperar un producto enriquecido en olefinas, del efluente de la zona de reacción; y (d) someter cuando menos uno de hidrógeno y al menos un óxido de carbono, del efluente de la segunda zona de reacción, al paso (a).
