Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a dispositivo para control de combustible que comprende una caja que tiene un pasaje que la atraviesa para interconectar una fuente de combustible con un quemador principal, una válvula de estrangulamiento dispuesta en el pasaje para obturar el flujo de combustible a través del pasaje al quemador; y un selector interconectado operativamente a la válvula de estrangulamiento para accionarlo; esta válvula de estrangulamiento comprende un par de miembros, uno de los cuales está prácticamente estacionario y el otro de los cuales es rotatorio en relación con el miembro primeramente mencionado, este primer miembro tiene un frente y abertura que interrumpe el frente y que pasa a través del mismo y el otro miembro tiene un frente dispuesto en acoplamiento deslizante con el frente del primer miembro mencionado para controlar la abertura efectiva de la abertura para flujo de combustible a través del mismo; el selector está operativamente interconectado al segundo miembro para hacerlo rotar en relación con el primero y con esto controlar el flujo de combustible a través del pasaje, el segundo miembro tiene una abertura que interrumpe el frente del mismo y está adaptado para superponer a la abertura en varias posiciones para controlar el flujo de combustible a través; la mejora caracterizada en que el segundo miembro comprende una válvula macho, la válvula macho tiene un eje de rotación y tiene una superficie de extremo dispuesta substancialmente transversal al eje, esta superficie de extremo comprende el frente del mismo; la abertura de la válvula macho está desplazada en relación con su eje de rotación; la superficie de extremo de la válvula macho es substancialmente plano; la válvula macho tiene un orificio en derivación que interrumpe su superficie de extremo, el primer miembro tiene un orificio en derivación que interrumpe su frente; y estos orificios en derivación están en relación alineada y son coaxiales con el eje de rotación mencionado.
