Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un contrapeso para un rotor de un motor dinamoeléctrico, que se caracteriza en que consiste de: una porción de cuerpo principal de masa substancial, dicha porción de cuerpo principal generalmente es de una configuración tal, que se extiende generalmente de manera circunferencial a lo largo de la cara extrema de un rotor a través de un arco de hasta 180 grados pero sin exceder los 180 grados de la cara extrema; medios de montaje que se extienden hacia el exterior desde los extremos opuestos de la porción del cuerpo principal, de manera que se extiendan, por lo general, circunferencialmente, a lo largo de la cara extrema del rotor, dichos medios de montaje y el cuerpo principal son de tal longitud para que se extiendan del rotor, cuando se ensamble al mismo, dicha porción del cuerpo principal de contrapeso está escalonado e incluye una sección interior en forma de C, dimensionada para que se ajuste dentro de un orificio central provisto en la superficie extrema del rotor y una sección exterior de configuración en C que se extiende axialmente hacia el exterior desde la superficie extrema del rotor.
