Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una estructura formada de por lo menos una lámina de vidrio transparente que comprende sobre la misma un primer revestimiento inorgánico de un material reflector a la radiación infrarroja cuyo material es del tipo que es un material semiconductor transparente y que exhibe normalmente colores iridiscentes en la iluminación de día, y en donde un revestimiento de entrecapa queda entre el vidrio y el primer revestimiento, el segundo revestimiento forma un medio para disminuir considerablemente los colores iridiscentes del primer revestimiento proporcionando por lo menos dos interfaces adicionales que forman un medio junto con la masa del segundo revestimiento, para reflejar y refractar la luz de manera tal que la capacidad de observación en la iluminación de día, de los colores iridiscentes se reduce considerablemente; y en donde el revestimiento de entrecapa tiene un índice de refracción promedio definido como aproximadamente la raíz cuadrada del múltiplo de los índices de refracción del vidrio y el primer revestimiento, en donde el revestimiento de entrecapa consiste de dos subcapas cada uno teniendo un grueso de aproximadamente 1/4 de longitud de onda de la luz que tiene una longitud de onda de vacío de aproximadamente 500 manómetros y en donde la subcapa de índice de refracción más elevado queda más distante del vidrio, la mejora en donde por lo menos una subcapa contiene una porción en donde su índice de refracción disminuye a medida que aumenta la distancia desde la capa inferior de vidrio.
