Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para preparar artículos moldeados poliméricos termoreducibles, en donde una corriente de reacción líquida que comprende una cicloolefina no conjugada de anillo esforzado polimerizable con metatésis, un catalizador de polimerización por metatésis, un activador que se selecciona del grupo que consiste de compuestos de alquilaluminio, alquilzinc y alquilestaño, y un moderador de régimen de reacción se cargan en un molde en donde la polimerización se lleva acabo, está caracterizado porque el moderador de régimen de reacción comprende: (X-)(Y-)(Z-)PW en donde X, Y y Z representan grupos alquilo, cicloalquilo, alicíclico, arilo, aralquilo, alcarilo, alcoxi, alquiltio, ariloxi, ariltio, o tiofeno, y W representa oxígeno, azufre o nada.
