Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un copoliéster mejorado que es particularmente útil como un adhesivo termofunsionable que está caracterizado porque consiste de unidades periódicas que se derivan de (a) un componente diácido que consiste esencialmente de (1) de 70 por ciento de 90 por ciento molar de ácido tereftálico y (2) de 10 a 30 por ciento molar de ácido isoftálico y (b) un componente de diol que consiste esencialmente de (1) de 10 a 20 por ciento molar etilenglicol y (2) de 80 a 95 por ciento molar de hexametilenglicol.
