Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un conector eléctrico desmontable, para su empleo en establecer una interconexión entre conductores en uno o más circuitos, caracterizado porque comprende: una primera y una segunda cajas de conector, aisladas y acoplables; al menos una cavidad, que se extiende a través de la primera caja de conector; al menos una protuberancia, relativamente rígida, sobre el extremo acoplador de la segunda caja de conector, un agujero dentro de la segunda caja, que se extiende a través de cada protuberancia; terminales eléctricas acoplables, dentro de agujeros y cavidades correspondientes, el conector se caracteriza porque la primera caja compremde un miembro moldeado unitario, que tiene una porción relativamente rígida y una porción selladora relativamente deformable, adyacente a la cara acopladora de la primera caja, cada cavidad en la primera caja se extiende a través de la porción relativamente rígida y la porción selladora relativamente deformable, y comprende un elemento para recibir una protuberancia correspondiente, por lo cual la porción selladora, relativamente deformable, establece una integridad selladora alrededor de una protuberancia correspondiente, cuando se acoplan la primera y la segunda cajas de conector.
