Abstract
The invention relates to the cooled radiation detectors for measurement of low radiation fluxes from the millimeter and submillimeter wavelength range.The bolometer comprises a cryostat, in which is placed a sensing element, to which is connected a recording device and a high-voltage pulse device. As cooling source of the cryostat is used liquid nitrogen. The sensing element is made of a semiconductor in the form of monocrystalline wire of lead telluride of p-type conductivity with a diameter of 5…20 µm.
