Abstract
Invenţia se referă la oligonucleotide modificate chimic abile să inhibe expresia (de exemplu, cantitatea) de miARN din familia miR-15, inclusiv miR-15a, miR-15b, miR-16, miR-195, miR-424 şi miR-497. În unele variante de realizare prezenta invenţie prevede oligonucleotide abile să inhibe într-un mod specific expresia sau cantitatea de fiecare dintre miR-15a, miR-15b, miR-16, miR-195, miR-424 şi miR-497. De asemenea, invenţia se mai referă la compoziţii farmaceutice cu conţinut de oligonucleotide şi la metode de tratare a pacienţilor cu stări sau tulburări legate de sau care implică miARN din familia miR-15, cum ar fi o stare cardiovasculară. În diverse forme de realizare oligonucleotidele oferă avantaje în una sau mai multe dintre: eficacitate, eficienţă de livrare, specificitate pentru ţintă, toxicitate şi/sau stabilitate.
