Abstract

The invention relates to alloy brazing processes, particularly a process for brazing by electrospark alloying of sintered hard alloys and carbon steels.The process, according to the invention, includes deposition on the brazing surface, by electrospark alloying, at a pulse frequency of 200...500 Hz and the duration of 200...400 µs, of an intermediate layer, which is not a brazing alloy, tinning and brazing of the obtained layer with fusible alloys, using a colophonic flux.
