Abstract
L'invention concerne une plante solanum lycopersicum comprenant, dans son génome, sur le chromosome 1, des séquences ayant subi une introgression provenant de solanum habrochaites, lesdites séquences ayant subi une introgression conférant à la plante un phénotype amélioré correspondant à la fois à un rendement accru et à une quantité accrue de sucres solubles attribués aux fruits (brix*rendement), par rapport à une plante correspondante dépourvue desdites séquences, et lesdites séquences ayant subi une introgression étant choisies parmi celles présentes dans le génome d'une plante des semences avec le numéro d'accès topatyield ncimb 42567. Les séquences ayant subi une introgression sont de préférence caractérisées par des allèles définis de différents snp. Sur le chromosome 1, entre autres, l'allèle t de snpil2_3605 (seq id no.9) et/ou l'allèle a de il2_641 (seq id no.12). L'invention concerne également des parties de ces plantes ayant un phénotype amélioré, ainsi qu'une descendance améliorée, et l'utilisation de ces plantes pour l'introgression du phénotype amélioré dans un autre arrière-plan génétique, ainsi que différents procédés pour obtenir des plants ou des semences de tomate présentant un rendement et un brix*rendement accrus.
