Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método para producir una planta de jitomate partenocárpica, y opcionalmente estéril macho que comprende la introgresión en la planta de una región genética del Cromosoma 4, 5 y/o 12 de S. habrochaites LYC4/78, una muestra representativa de la semilla la cual se depositó el 13 de Noviembre del 2007 en NCIMB con el número de acceso 41517, en donde la región genética del Cromosoma 4 de S. habrochaites LCY4/78 incluye al menos un marcador seleccionado del Marcador C059, el marcador CT229 de RFLP, y el marcador T1068 de COS, y en donde la región genética del Cromosoma 5 de 5. habrochaites LYC4/78 incluye al menos un marcador seleccionado del marcador T1181l de COS, el marcador TG441 de RFLP y /0 el marcador CD31(A) de RFLP.
