LA PRÉSENTE INVENTION CONCERNE UN NOUVEAU TYPE DE RÉACTEUR CHIMIQUE, DÉSIGNÉ SOUS LE NOM DE RÉACTEUR CATALYTIQUE À MEMBRANE AVEC POMPAGE ÉLECTROCHIMIQUE D'HYDROGÈNE OU D'OXYGÈNE. CE NOUVEAU TYPE DE RÉACTEUR EST PARTICULIÈREMENT APPROPRIÉ POUR AUGMENTER LA SÉLECTIVITÉ ET LA CONVERSION DANS DES RÉACTIONS DE DÉSHYDROGÉNATION, D'HYDROGÉNATION, DE DÉSOXYDATION ET D'OXYDATION, NOTAMMENT DANS LA RÉACTION D'AMINATION DIRECTE D'HYDROCARBURES. LEDIT RÉACTEUR PEUT ÊTRE UTILISÉ POUR LA PRODUCTION DE DIVERS COMPOSÉS CHIMIQUES, PAR EXEMPLE POUR L'AMINATION DIRECTE D'HYDROCARBURES, ET NOTAMMENT LA SYNTHÈSE D'ANILINE À PARTIR DE BENZÈNE. CETTE APPLICATION, DANS LAQUELLE L'HYDROGÈNE EST ENLEVÉ PAR POMPAGE ÉLECTROCHIMIQUE OU L'OXYGÈNE POMPÉ EN VUE D'UNE OXYDATION DE L'HYDROGÈNE FORMÉ, PERMET D'OBTENIR UNE CONVERSION DU BENZÈNE EN ANILINE SUPÉRIEURE À 40%.
