Abstract
L'invention concerne un dispositif (1) servant à séparer le sang en composants individuels et/ou en groupes de composants sanguins. Ce dispositif se présente sous la forme d'un système stérilisable qui comprend un ensemble filtrant (2) formant une chambre d'entrée (4) et une chambre de sortie (5) au moyen d'éléments filtrants (3) placés dans ledit ensemble, un réceptacle (6) pour des composants sanguins cellulaires et un réceptacle (7) pour le plasma sanguin, la chambre d'entrée (4) de l'ensemble filtrant (2) étant reliée par conduite, côté entrée, à une source de sang (10) et, côté sortie, au réceptacle (6) destiné à des composants cellulaires du sang et la chambre de sortie (5) étant reliée par conduite, côté sortie, au réceptacle (7) destiné au plasma sanguin. L'objectif de cette invention est d'élaborer une solution permettant de recourir à une stérilisation thermique, en particulier une stérilisation à la vapeur, pour stériliser ce dispositif. A cet effet, une conduite (17, 20), communiquant avec l'environnement extérieur par l'intermédiaire d'un filtre hydrophobe ou hydrophile, en particulier d'un filtre antibactérien hydrophobe ou hydrophile (18, 21), débouche dans la conduite côté entrée (14) de la chambre d'entrée (4) ou dans la chambre d'entrée (4) et dans la conduite côté sortie (20) de la chambre de sortie (5) ou dans la chambre de sortie (5) respectivement.
