Composition minérale à base d'une phase solide mixte de carbonates de calcium et de magnésium, son procédé de préparation et son utilisation. Composition minérale à base d'une phase solide mixte de carbonates de calcium et de magnésium, formée d'une partie calcique cristallisée et d'une partie magnésienne cristallisée sous forme de plaquettes, les cristaux de la partie calcique et ceux de la partie magnésienne étant agrégés sous forme d'agrégats composites, ces agrégats étant eux-mêmes au moins partiellement agglomérés, ladite partie calcique comprenant au moins un carbonate choisi parmi le groupe constitué de la calcite, de l'aragonite et de leurs mélanges, ladite partie magnésienne comprenant de l'hydromagnésite sous forme plaquettaire, ladite phase solide mixte présentant une masse volumique en vrac inférieure ou égale à 250 kg/m
