It is known that this method of hair removal consists in softening the heat of the wax, spreading it with a spatula on the surface of the skin to be depilated, so as to form strips, then, after hardening of the wax. , to remove these strips, which causes the pulling of the hairs trapped in the wax. Such devices therefore make it possible both to heat the wax for its application to the skin to be depilated and to filter this wax after use.

However, the metal filters of these devices have the disadvantage of requiring difficult and thorough cleaning after each filtration, to avoid polluting the wax.

This constraint can be considered acceptable, in the case of a device for professional use, using a large amount of wax. However, v in the case of a small device, for household use, the cleaning of the filter must be carried out after each filtration, therefore after each depilation, which is very tedious for the user.

In Figures 2 to 4, we see that the filter 12 is produced by folding a rectangular sheet (see Figure 2) whose opposite sides 14, 15, 16 and 17 are folded inwards, so that completely folded position (see Figure 3), the filter 12 occupies a very small volume, similar to that of a handkerchief.

From the above description, it follows, therefore, that the apparatus according to the invention is of particularly simple construction and is very convenient to use. Thanks to its disposable filter, it is particularly suitable for domestic use.

Of course, the invention is not limited to the example just described, and many modifications can be made to it without departing from the scope of the invention.

Thus, the filter 12 can be made of any filter material sufficiently inexpensive to be disposable.

The shape of the filter 12 can, of course, be different from that described, provided that such a filter does not have, in its part intended to be immersed in the hot wax, any assembly element, such as glue, likely to dissolve in the wax and pollute it.
