Abstract

A filter is made up of a parallelepipedic box with open top and has 2 perforated ends into which is placed a disposable filter cloth, e.g. of fibre glass, in the form of a strip that covers the base and the 2 perforated ends of the box. Alternatively the cloth can be mounted into an auxiliary framework that can be slid into the box to make up at least one wall of the filter box. Used to filter aggressive materials or ones that present cleaning difficulties of the cloth esp. for the recovery of paraffin or wax after depilation. The filter is simple and inexpensive and the cloth can be thrown away with the mass of hairs after use.
