Abstract
현존하는 전화선을 통해, 종래 모뎀을 포함하는 현재방법에 비해 고속 전송속도로 데이터를 전송하는 신규한 데이터 통신 시스템에 관한 것이다. 두 개의 통신 엔드포인트의 신규 비대칭 구조를 사용함으로서, 데이터 전송 속도에 대해 현재 허용된 최대 이론적 제한은 더 이상 적용되지 않는다. 하나의 엔드포인트는 디지털 전화 네트워크에 직접 접속되는 반면에, 다른 엔트포인트는 종래 전화접속을 사용한다. 이것을 전송 문제점을 단일 전화선 인터페이스 및 단일 아날로그 로컬 루프에 대한 보상으로 감소시킨다. 상기 보상 및 감소된 클럭 동기화를 제공하는 수단은 시스템의 실제 실행을 인에이블하도록 만들어진다.
신규 시스템은 64,000 비트/초의 전송속도까지 수행할 수 있으며, 광대역 오디오 전송, 비디오 전송, 네트워킹, 팩시밀리 전송 및 원격 액세스를 포함하는 여러 액티브 영역에서 폭넓게 이용할 수 있다.

Claims (30)
- 디지털 및 아날로그 기능을 가지며 디지털 데이터의 왜곡된 표현인 아날로그 신호를 가입자에게 제공하는 전화 네트워크에 디지털 데이터를 전송하는 인코더와; 상기 아날로그 신호에 응답하여 상기 아날로그 신호로부터의 상기 왜곡을 감소시켜서, 상기 인코더로부터 원시 전송데이터의 추정을 재구성하는 디코더를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고속 데이터 전송 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 왜곡은, 상기 전화 네트워크를 상기 가입자에 접속하는, 전화국으로부터 실행되는 라인상의 전기왜곡과; 상기 전화 네트워크내에서 디지털에서 아날로그로 전환할 때 발생되는 왜곡과; 상기 전화 네트워크내에서 발생하는 필터링 때문에 발생되는 왜곡중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고속 데이터 전송 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 디지털에서 아날로그로의 전환은 비선형 압신회로를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전송 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 인코더는 상기 디지털 데이터를 상기 전화 네트워크에 적용할 수 있는 포맷으로 바꾸는 회로를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전송 시스템.

- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 디코더는, 부분적으로 보상된 신호를 발생시키기 위해 상기 아날로그 신호에 응답하는 동화기와; 상기 왜곡의 추가 감소를 위해 상기 부분적으로 보상된 신호에 응답하는 제2등화기와; 상기 제2등화기의 출력을 개별 세트로부터의 값의 시퀀스로 전환하는 결정수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전송 시스템.
