Abstract

본 발명은, 파라-크실렌(p-X)가 메틸 파라-톨루에이트(p-TE)를 산화시키는 단계; 산화반응으로부터의 반응 생성물을 메탄올에 의해 에스테르화시키는 단계; 및 증류탑 최상단 온도가 30 내지 220mbar의 압력에서 100 내지 200℃이고 최하단 온도가 180 내지 260℃이며 탑 최상단과 탑 최하단 사이의 각 단의 압력차가 30mbar를 초과하지 않는 조건하에서 작동하는 구조화된 패킹이 장착된 증류 단위에서 미정제 에스테르를 분리히시킴을 포함하는, 상기 단계에서 생성된 미정제 에스테르를 (a) 산화반응으로 재순환되는 분획, (b) 미정제 DMT 분획 및 (c) 고비점 잔사 분획으로 분리시키는 단계를 필수적으로 포함하는, 미정제 디메틸 테레프탈레이트(미정제 DMT)의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.

Claims (13)

  1. 파라-크실렌(p-X)가 메틸 파라-톨루에이트(p-TE)를 산화시키는 단계; 산화반응으로부터의 반응 생성물을 메탄올에 의해 에스테르화시키는 단계; 및 증류탑 최상단 온도가 30 내지 200mbar의 압력에서 100 내지 220℃이고 최하단 온도가 180 내지 260℃이며 탑 최상단과 탑 최하단 사이의 각 단의 압력차가 30mbar를 초과하지 않는 조건하에서 작동하는 구조화된 패킹이 장착된 증류 단위에서 미정제 에스테르를 분리히시킴을 포함하는, 상기 단계에서 생성된 미정제 에스테르를 (a) 산화반응으로 재순환되는 분획, (b) 미정제 디세틸 테레프탈레이트(DMT) 분획 및 (c) 고비점 잔사 분획으로 분리시키는 단계를 필수적으로 포함하는, 미정제 디메틸 테레프탈레이트(미정제 DMT)의 제조벙법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 증류 단위가, 최상단 온도가 30 내지 20mbar의 압력에서 100 내지 220℃이고 최하단 온도가 180 내지 245℃인 조건하에서 작동하는 방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 증류 단위가, 최상단 온도가 30 내지 20mbar의 압력에서 100 내지 220℃이고 최하단 온도가 190 내지 230℃인 조건하에서 작동하는 방법.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 탑 최상단과 탑 최하단 사이의 각 단의 압력차가 20mbar를 초과하지 않는 조건하에서 작동하는 방법.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 탑 최상단과 탑 최하단 사이가 각 단의 압력차가 15mbar를 초과하지 않은 조건하에서 작동하는 방법.
  6. 제1항 내지 제5항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 미정제 에스테르가 2개의 탑 시스템에서 증류되는 방법.
  7. 제1항 내지 제5항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 미정제 에스테르가 플래쉬 챔버 및 다운스트림 탑을 필수적으로 포함하는 시스템에서 증류되는 방법.
  8. 제1항 내지 제7항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 스테인레스 스틸 또는 기타 내식성 재료로 이루어진 구조화된 패팅이 사용되는 방법.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 알루미늄, 하스텔로이드(Hastelloy), 티탄, 플라스틱 또는 세라믹으로 구조화된 패킹이 사용되는 방법.
  10. 제1항 내지 제9항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 표면적이 100 내지 800㎡/㎥인 구조화된 패킹이 사용되는 방법.
  11. 제1항 내지 제10항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 액체 누출 가능성이 가장 낮은 구조화된 패킹이 사용되는 방법.
  12. 제1항 내지 제11항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 수평 배향된 구조 부재를 필수적으로 함유하지 않는 구조화된 패킹이 사용되는 방법.
  13. 제1항 내지 제12항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 침착물의 침착을 억제하는 표면이 장착된 구조화된 패킹이 사용되는 방법.
