Abstract

본 발명은 폴리에스테로부터 테레프탈산 디에스테르 및 디올을 제조하기 위한 신규 방법에 관한 것이다. 이들 방법은 상기 폴리에스테르에 대한 에스테르 교환반응 촉매 및 에스테르 존재하에 폴리에스테르를 해중합시킨 다음 반응 혼합물을 에스테르 교환반응시켜 1가 알콜과 반응 시킴에 의해 테레프탈산 디에스테르를 수득한다. 신규 방법은 폴리 에스테르의 출발 성분이 온화한 조건하에서 신속히 회수되도록 한다.

Claims (12)

  1. 에스테르 존재하에 해중합시킨 다음 이 혼합물을 1가 알콜을 이용하여 에스테르 교환반응에 의해 테레프탈산 디에스테르 및 디올로 전환시킴을 특징으로 하여, 폴리에스테르에 대한 에스테르 교환반응 촉매의 존재하에 폴리에스테르를 해중합시켜 테레프탈산 디에스테르 및 디올을 제조하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 사용하는 폴리에스테르가 폴리에틸렌 테세프탈레이트인 방법.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 해중합 단계에서 사용하는 에스테르가 알킬 에스테르, 특히 방향족 디카르복실산의 디알킬 에스테르인 방법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 에스테르가 디메틸 테레프탈레이트인 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 사용하는 에스테르 교환반응 촉매가 망간 아세테이트, 산화아연, 아연 아세테이트, 염화아연 또는 산화망간, 또는 이들 화합물의 혼합물인 방법.
  6. 제2항에 있어서, 해중합 반응을 제5항에 청구된 에스테르 교환반응 촉매의 존재하에 대기압하 140 대기 250℃ 온도에서 수행하는 방법.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 반응 모니터링을 용융 점도를 측정하므로써 수행하는 방법.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 에스테르 교환반응 단계에서의 1가 알콜이 탄소수 1 내지 6의 알킬알콜, 특히 메탄올인 방법.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 에스테르 교환반응을 140내지 300℃에 1 내지 20bar에서 수행하는 방법.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 과량의 1가 알콜을 폴리에스테르로부터 기원한 디올과 함께 증류시킴에 의해 에스테르 교환반응 단계로 부터 제거하고 잔사중 잔류하는 테레프탈산 디에스테르를 연속하여 증류에 의해 정제하는 방법.
  11. 제1항에 있어서, 해중합 단계와 에스테르 교환반응 단계를 연속해서 수행하는 방법.
  12. 제1항에 있어서, 수득된 테레프탈산 디에스테르의 일부를 해중합 단계로 재공급하는 방법.
